Applied Economics Research Group at the Portland State University is a faculty-student cooperative consortium for applied economics research and consulting. Under the supervision of Ph.D faculty, students prepare for employment in business and government by engaging in solicited research and consulting projects. Research staff, including participating faculty members and students, are trained to serve the community through real world applications.
The missions of the Research Group are to provide facilities for quality applied economics education, to support applied social science research projects, and to serve as the information resource on the national and local economy.
